High Street Swing Band from Idaho will be at Lake Oswego’s free concert in the park Aug 6th at West Lake Park from 6:30 – 8:30.   Last Memorial Day week-end I was at the Sacramento Jazz Festival and was lucky enough to catch this band 4 different times.   They are a very talented group of 10 guys in Zoot Suite playing Swing music from Big Band to Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and everything in between.   Dancing is on the grass.  They are very high energy but down to earth. We happened to be staying in the same hotel as them and had some nice conversations.   At the last venue they had  650 people standing dancing to their music.

Aug 3rd they are also playing in Carlton Oregon at the ”Walk in the park”  at 11:00- 1:30 but that will cost $10.00.    I think there are worth the trip if you have nothing else going on this Sunday.
