Sat. March 20th and Sun. March 21st Gillian and I will be teaching the Big Apple. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49ocW71YPfs Come increase your knowledge of jazz steps and be prepared to bust out the big apple with other dancers at the local dances. When Sat. 20th 11:00-1:30 (1st half) Sun. 21st 3:00-5:30 (2nd half) Where: Madison House Ballroom, 1932 SE Madison St. ( huge house on the corner of SE 20th and Madison) Cost: $20 for one day or $30 for both days ( We hope you'll come both days and learn the whole dance) Snack and drink provided...See you there! |

Vancouver Ballroom hosts Saturday Swing in downtown Vancouver...only nine miles north of Central Portland (about 12 minutes away), just over the I-5 bridge! Dance on our huge 4,500 sq ft hardwood floor!  While this event does have a tremendously awesome line-up of swing dance bands, the event takes place in a theater... with theater seating. At the show in Salem there was plenty of dancing to be had in the isles and foyer, but there's not a designated dance floor. I'll be Emceeing the event. I plan to encourage dancing in the isles, I also plan on doing some dancing myself. |
