Portland Lindy Society presents Thursday Night at the PPAA. The PLS is proud to be Portland's longest-running Lindy Hop and East Coast Swing dance organizer. Venue: PPAA (Portland Policeman's Athletic Association) Address: 618 SE Alder, Portland, OR Floor: sprung wood, good size Booze: yes Smoke: never noticed Food: microwave pizza and hotdogs Ages: all Notes: parking okay in USBank lot at 6th & Alder 7:30 - Beginning Swing Lesson with Portland's best instructors 8:30 - Dance until midnight with different DJ's every week There are often special events - live music, special teachers, and the like - so check the main board to see what might be going on.
